Hi, my name is Yezzi Yezzir — musician, award-winning radio presenter, and the founder of Hey Sis UK.

In 2021, I created Hey Sis UK as a safe space where women especially Black British women could feel seen, heard, and supported. What began as a podcast has grown into a powerful online family, holding healing conversations around relationships, family dynamics, and career struggles through the unique lens of the Black British experience.

Today, Hey Sis UK proudly reaches over 2 million monthly visitors and has a growing community of 30,000+ social media followers. Our listeners mostly women aged 25 – 34 tune in from the UK, USA, Canada, Nigeria, and South Africa.
