Samtidigt att jag kämpa för börja min företag från grunden upp, så har jag stora planer att för alla oss i KALMAR LÄN och alla som kommer hitt för semester att har ett ställe helt unikt och annorlunda från något annat som finns.
Och i kalmar som är aven en stor student stad, har vi inte ens ställen för alla ålder att kunna går till för koppla av och umgås , roligt osv. Kan ej berätta än idén men kämpa varje dag så jag kan skriva inte bara om min dröm för oss alla ! Of course before helping anyone out, especially someone you might not know but maybe can relate with or hopefully understand the passion, want and need to make this successful. You want to know what your Hard working money will benefit towards.
I will try to make this as briefly as I can so you get an overall but full understanding ( even though I would love to do a while presentation of mt business plan, budget and so forth,pretty sure no one wants to actually read all of those pages though! ( happy to zoom if you do however feel more comfortable knowing more before donating )
The business :
The business I have already started and made some small sales is a ; Candle, soaps, skincare, lotions, jewelry, crystals, eyelashes and some more items that I myself did not make but are hand rolled incense sticks from India in form of zodiac and mild Kama sutra beyond other items. But 87% made by me, myself and I.
Also it can all be customized. I’m using WhatsApp business starting to post in a catalogue with already done items. And also every charm, scents, wax, ect . Mind you everything is strictly organic! I was able to Pay for a year forward recently to a platform [ one.com ] for a website. Highly recommend it ! So working on it to hopefully be able to launch soon .
What the funds will be used for :
Soy, bee and coconut wax, all organic made soap ingredients since I do them from scratch. Real Crystal / stone / lavastone beads . Charms for all ages and personalities, male, female, trans, my goal
Is to have enough charms to be able to make all forms of jewelry for everyone and able to customize their own. I don’t want anyone not included!! Different chains for allergy and also for personal touch of a customers wish;
Scents and Oils.
But the most costly and one of the top most important for Any business is presentation! So funds will especially be going to packaging and branding . I have a logo ( made by myself ) but being able to customize my candles and the rest. In Sweden, it’s a huge difference in cost unfortunately.
And even if I ordered from states or other country like the UK since Brixton it is now expensive with shipping as well, shipping and customs will add up to the same if not more cost in the end. So the address stickers, logo stickers in different forms to fit each of the different product section correctly. All that good and fun stuff ! And the one I’m Getting anxiety over is the ability to print out the ups or other postage stickers to place on the regular packing box. Return receipts and since subscription boxes are huge in Sweden, so it’s absolutely a goal
That I can start and have on the website when launching.
To wrap that up regarding the packaging/ branding /label printer for ; address with barcodes; return sticker / cushion material for candles and other sensitive merchandise but also to make it professional and beautiful when opening for example everything from a jewelry box which will have its own packaging inside the normal brown / beige package with the labels on. The main inside package filled with some type of proper filling material ( which there are is so many different types to choose from )
And of course brand labeling to really secure the professionalism and marketing at the same time.
What I have been able to invest with own saved money for my business and also from the help of my parents with a small “loan” ( I put quotes since it’s not bank loan ) :
* everything stated above regarding charms, waxes, some of the real beading. But not the range I need to produce something for everyone. And I’m out of so much already since before selling candles and soaps , lotions so forth. You need to do a trail run on friends and family that agree to it.
*a year subscription for website , hosting , domain. That I’m building from the bottom up myself since I rather do that and save money and put else where in the business then hire someone and do it the easy way. Same goes for my logo design , domain and business name.
Little About Myself and the “zebra” illness ( pictures below of proof of illness ) that’s putting a wall up to be able to work like I would want to and save up myself ; reason behind having to ask for help instead of being able to take a small business loan which I would have already done if I could have. And the reason why working and saving is not in my cards which has unfortunately broken me but also my drive and motivation to have to find a way and get financially stable to hopefully one day open a cute Butik in Sweden.
I am a 31 year old single mom to an amazing soon to be 6 year old boy. I was raised in Houston Texas but live in Sweden were I was born. I have worked from Butik to elderly / Demens based homes. But unfortunately my disease ( hate this word ) but I am born with EDS - EHLDERS DANLOS SYNDOME . Which everyone who is born with this sickness has different symptoms and types but most of all we look “healthy” and for this reason it’s hard to get Any help. I do have the papers ( in Swedish but documents stating my illness and all the chronic illnesses it comes with - which I will post for proof of illness )
Point being, I have battled with working but it was either work or able to take care of my son when I’m already on a pain level of 7 on a good day, working put me at a 20 plus.
( times I’ve got so fed up and tired if it were not for my son , I truly don’t know if I would still be here today; however I have learned to cope and accepting I have a illness that has no cure and regardless with pain medication I will never truly be pain free. )
I have now for months gone through programs and doctors who state I am not aloud to work but the system in sweden Fkassan says no , she can. But someone with a cracked disk has got put on sick checks , which I even have also.
Now I’m applying again after the programs to see how much my body can work . 15% since I Have functions that need to stay home but even the man who has been with me this whole ride for years says - for her to have an economic chance , starting her own business at home to begin with is what she wants and can do. Also has a promising business plan.
Bad news. Decision that I hopefully and pray they accept and put me on sick pay but can work with own business can take 4 months to almost a year.
Since I messed up when I first got here and even though you off a bad credit, it’s there for 3 years - meaning I can’t take a loan, I can’t get any grants or help through the programs they do have ( even though taking the start own business course through one )
So thankful for my parents helping me with payments so we are not out on the streets. And it’s embarrassing but also they have worked and it’s their time to live , not have to help me by spending life savings !
What your donations will do for my son and me.
It’s hard to find words since just the thought of being helped by others who might not even know me, will put so much self esteem and happiness that kind hearted people believe in me and want to see other woman or just people in general succeed as well.
The pain related to my EDS and the constant flare ups from even sleeping my “dreams” are filled with economically challenges that haunt me which means I tense my body without knowing and wake up to excruciating pain which has taken it all to be able to get out to bed but having to take the bus that is 1 min ride to my sons daycare since I can barely walk. But he is my motivation so for him I have no choice and I thank everyday for him! The ability to hopefully help my parents out instead of them having to help me out!
I can’t explain the happiness and joy you will help bring into this household. We live in a one bedroom and living room, kitchen and bath but it’s starting to get small when all my sons friends have their own room. This will make it possible to find another apartment with atleast a bedroom for himself to be proud of and at its best a smaller room for all my production! Hehe
Words won’t even be close to tell you and express how thankful I am for anyone who decides to donate. Every dollar helps and when I start rollin in the money enough i will personalize an item for everyone who has helped me achieve my dream of not just being financially stable , having my own business but also being a mom my son can look up to and be proud of finally !
