Hello my name is George and I rent a house in the community of pájaro with my sister , my mom and my fiancé . For the past couple of years we have been working hard so hopefully we can get a house of our own in the future since we had just lost ours a couple of years ago. The stress was so bad my mom ended up having a stroke not too long before it all happened , but most recently and why I’m trying to raise money is because we just had our house flooded in the most abrupt way possible. We woke up at 4 am with my mom screaming at the top of her lungs that we are getting flooded and to grab our stuff to go ASAP. The only things I grabbed were my 2 cats ,my dog and me and my fiancés gaming pcs. However when we left the house we did not get very far. We didn’t make it down the road before both of our cars stopped working and we needed to hop out to get the animals to safety I left my pcs in my car to save my dog kaida and my two cats snow and beelzebub. We luckily found a spot on top of some stairs that the water had not reached and I left my fiancé and the pets there so me, my mom and little sister could see what we could salvage from the cars but when we got there anything in the cars were beyond saving and unfortunately my mom slipped and fell and ended up swallowing some of the disgusting flood water so we gave up the effort and headed back to my fiancé to get my mom to safety as well. By the time I got back my body was starting to shake and my muscles were screaming me Luckily we ended up getting saved by the military soon after and they were very helpful and patient with people like me (or just me) who was absolutely exhausted and absolutely Taken aback by everything. Honestly it feels like a nightmare I can’t wake up from , we lost EVERYTHING … important documents, clothes, electronics, furniture, cars etc. I can’t even get to work safely due to the road closures so I can’t even make money.

what this means to me is a way to start on the right foot and a way to give my mom some peace of mind and that’s my biggest concern , her worrying about this I’m afraid will hit her harder than us losing our house the first time since we lost everything this time, no time to move ourselves out. It would mean so much if anybody would be willing to help out

what I will use this money for is to help my mom, my sister and my fiancé get all of the things we need, and hopefully even lost in the floods replaced I hope this reaches the right people and we can get the help we need to start over. Thank you
