For seven years, the Bethpage Muslim Community fought for the right to rebuild our masjid. We navigated courts, permits, and relentless opposition — while our families prayed in two cramped, converted restaurants. Our children sat on floors with makeshift classrooms separated by curtains and made wudu in inadequate facilities. We asked for nothing more than the basic dignity every religious center on Long Island takes for granted.

We held firm. We made du’a. We kept going. And Alhamdulillah — we won.

Now it’s time to build.
