Build Kylo's Ramp: A Community Effort
Donation protected
If you've been lucky enough to meet Jessica and Jon Allen, you know that they are some of the most selfless, kind, and loving people in our community. Jessica has served our country in the military, spent years as a counselor in Canton serving local families, and even started a local foster parent support program. She and Jon were blessed with foster loves and are both wonderful advocates for not only their children but many other local fosters.
Two years ago, this August, Jon and Jessica were blessed with their youngest foster love. Kylo is a chatterbox with independent strength a mile long. He lights up every room he enters, and people flock toward his contagious smile. He has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and myoclonic epilepsy, but he doesn't let that slow him down! He strives to be army crawling on the floor or in his GoBro, getting into everything by himself.
Kylo is unable to navigate the steps into the home and they are working on getting him a wheelchair. As he grows, they will not be able to transport him into the home without a wheelchair ramp, which DCFS refuses to pay for. The Allen family has selflessly given to our community through the years, and I would love to see us come together to give back to them. Please donate if you can, and if you are unable, please share to get the word out!
Thank you!
