Goal: $25,000 | Project: New Hope School, Mombasa County
In Bogo Bogo, children with disabilities are locked out of education—not by policy, but by poor sanitation.
The only community school here lacks even basic disability-accessible toilets or classrooms. Children with intellectual capacity stay home—not because they want to, but because the facilities won’t let them in.
Let’s change that.
Maji na Ufanisi is piloting an inclusive WASH upgrade that will:
- Add disability-friendly toilets and classroom ramps
- Equip the school with safe handwashing stations
- Set a national model for inclusive WASH in informal settlements
This isn’t just a school renovation. It’s a statement of equality.
It’s the chance to say: All children belong in school. All children deserve dignity.
Your donation will give a child with disabilities the key to their future.
This pilot can scale. But it starts with you.
