Lets Build Jose a House
**OVERFLOW FUNDING** In only 48 hours we have reached our original goal to provide Jose and his family the basic structure of a sturdy home. Let's go a step further and take care of some additional needs of this incredible family. All overflow funding will be used for home upgrades such as running water, a brick cooking stove and more. The possiblity to impact Jose's family really has no limit!
Jose is a migrant Panamian worker and the head of a household of nine. We've been filming a documentary following his family throughout the coffee harvest, beginning at his village deep in the rainforest of Panama. Two months later, while harvesting coffee in Costa Rica, his home was blown over by strong mountain winds.

When we asked Jose about his dreams, his modest reply was to provide a safe and secure home for his family. Our goal is to help him fulfill this dream.
With 5,000 dollars (U.S.) we can provide:
- The complete construction of a sturdy home
- Brick oven with vent
- Upgraded running water system
- Truck and equipment rentals (His village is 3 hours away from the nearest hardware store and without electricity)
- Misc expenses such as : screws, tools, gas, ect.
All labor will be provided by volunteers through Sound Coffee Collective and Don Eli Coffee.

With your help, we plan to begin construction immediately following the coffee harvest (mid-March) so that Jose and his family have a home to return to.

Traceability
We aim to keep our entire project traceable so that you know exactly how your donations are being used. The Sound Coffee team is already on the ground in Costa Rica working daily beside Jose and his family, planning the construction of a house that will blend in with neighboarding homes and cover all basic needs. Our founding team member Beau will be in charge of withdrawing and delegating funds to most effectively complete construction. For more questions concerning traceability feel free to contact us at soundcoffeecollective.com
