HELP BUILD THE CHURCH
Donation protected
We are knocking on your hearts to help build this church in Africa.
It is our hope and faith that we have in Jesus Christ, that He hears our prayers; And that He will place this request on the hearts of each and every one of you. Please consider helping and sharing this page to further Gods kingdom. Our goal is to raise the funds to help provide a larger place of worship. Keep in mind this is in a Muslim dominate area. In 2016 they started with 5 members, and they currently have around 300. 180 of those are children currently having Sunday school under a tree. The new Church plans to seat 600+ people.
Please take a few minutes from your day to watch this video below that they created per our request.
The QR code is a direct link to the Pastors Facebook page if you would like to watch the progress and have a more personal view of their services. It is a great way to stay connected and pray for their specific needs!
To God we give ALL of the Glory and Praise!
REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE TO COMPLETE OUR NEW PERMANENT SANCTUARY
My name is Pastor Antony Ouma Makokha. I'm a humble servant of Jesus Christ. I was born in Namulungu, Mumias, Kakamega County in Kenya. I am married to one wife Violet and we have 4 children.
Currently I am pastoring a church by the name House Of Grace Apostolic Missions International in Koyonzo, Matungu Constituency of Kakamega County.
Our purpose is to make, mature and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ, though the power of the Holy Spirit, for the Glory of God (YHWH).
We make disciples through sharing the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ and with our words and deeds which glorify Him alone. We live the implications of the Good News of Jesus Christ in our lives and it's our purpose to share our inheritance with you.
We request your prayers and supplication to assist us in our faithful mission. We mature disciples through growing in our understanding and application of the good news of Jesus to our lives. We encourage our congregation to read their bibles, to worship and pray daily. Living in rural Kenya, many of congregation work for a low salary and we welcome and appreciate your gifts and donations which allow us to buy bibles, break bread and support our lively community.
The Lord has been faithful to us as a church and ever since I launched the church in Koyonzo, it has been growing in leaps and bounds. As I write this, we are fellowshipping in a semi-permanent structure. The congregation has outgrown the place of worship, and we are in the process of building a new sanctuary and this time round, a permanent one.
The pictures above depict our current state in terms of space and congregation. Our Sunday school children are not part of these congregants inside the sanctuary. They hold their service outside, under a tree, as seen below.
It is against this backdrop that we started by faith the project of the new sanctuary that will eventually deal with the issue of congestions so that our current members and new forthcoming ones will have a serene spacious place to worship the Lord in truth and spirit. Below is the current state of our project, the upcoming new sanctuary. We humbly request for your assistance to help us complete the project.
Our budget is as follows:
-6,000 more bricks @ $480 US.
-120 bags of cement @$870 US.
-86 D12 metal round bars @$1000US.
-88 D8 round bars @$528 US.
-20 Tonnes of machine ballast @$500 US.
-6 Trucks of sand @$440 US.
-5 Rolls of hoop iron @$120 US.
-2 Rolls of binding wire @$ 68 US.
-Labor work@$1,340 US.
(This doesn't include any interior needs)
Once again, thank you very much for your decision to stand with us in our quest to have the new sanctuary completed.
God Bless You.
