Build Central Coasts Permanent Place of Worship

For over two decades, the Muslim community of Santa Maria, California has been steadfastly committed to nurturing their faith and fostering a sense of unity. Starting from humble beginnings in various homes and small offices, the Central Coast Islamic Center has grown into a vibrant and thriving community, united by the shared desire to worship, learn, and serve together.

Today, we stand at a pivotal moment in our community's history. After years of perseverance and dedication, we have the opportunity to establish our very own Masjid (Mosque) and Islamic center - a permanent sanctuary that will serve as a beacon of spiritual growth, leadership, and education for generations to come.

As the only Masjid with an 100 mile radius between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, our vision is to create a space that embodies the inclusive and welcoming spirit of our community. The new 17,800 square foot land, with its 7,200 square foot building, will provide ample room for our growing congregation to gather for prayer, study, and fellowship. With accessible-friendly features, a spacious prayer hall, an education resource center, a gym, and dedicated washrooms for ablution, this Masjid will be a hub of worship, learning, and community engagement.

This vision cannot be realized without your support. Through our generous local community members, we've raised $550,000 of the $1.5 million purchase price to secure the property. Now, we are turning to our broader community, seeking your generous contributions to help us raise $100,000 of the remaining $950,000 needed to complete this transformative project.
