Build Brando a Forever Home

Brando came to the Gunnison Valley three years ago when a local family adopted him from a Denver rescue group.  Over the past few years, Brando began to show aggressive behavior - first toward other dogs and eventually toward strangers as well. After working extensively with a specialty dog trainer, Brando's family could no longer safely care for him and made the difficult decision to relinquish him to Oh Be Dogful Rescue. At Oh Be Dogful Rescue, we are continuing to work diligently with a trainer to rehabilitate Brando's fear-based aggression.  Unfortunately, because his behavior predominantly manifests toward strangers, Brando needs a secluded safe zone away from the hustle and bustle of Oh Be Dogful in order to minimize his triggers. Brando is the sweetest boy when he is in a protected environment, and our goal is to provide him with the sanctuary he needs in order to maximize his rehabilitation.
