We Need You. Right Now. Hope 7 Is Hanging On By a Thread.

For over 50 years, Hope 7 Community Center has been a lifeline for the Eastside of Troy and beyond. We've opened our doors to thousands of children, parents, and families — offering a safe space after school, joyful summer memories, hot meals, groceries, holiday gifts, and so much more. We've always given everything we have to support those in need.

But now, we're the ones in need — and the truth is, we’re struggling to survive.

The recent storms have devastated our building. Entire rooms have been gutted. Ceilings have collapsed. Walls have been torn apart. The upstairs is uninhabitable. And the damage has crept downstairs too. The heart of Hope 7 is bruised, battered, and broken.

To make matters worse - our insurance will not cover the damage and we don’t have the money to fix it.

As a small nonprofit, every dollar we raise goes right back into the community. We don’t have a rainy day fund. We don’t have big corporate sponsors to step in and rescue us. What we have is you. And right now, we’re pleading with you for your help.

We need to rebuild immediately if we want to open in time for the school year. Without urgent support, children will have nowhere to go after school. Families will miss out on food, support, and connection. The lights could go off, and the doors could close — just when people need us the most.

This is a moment of crisis. And we cannot face it alone.
