The U.S. has the highest maternal mortality rate among high-income nations.

Black women are 3 to 4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women — no matter their income, education, or access to insurance. Indigenous and low-income families face similarly high risks.

But we know what helps: doulas.

Doulas provide essential emotional, physical, and advocacy support throughout pregnancy, the birth itself, postpartum, and more. Their presence is directly linked to better birth outcomes, fewer interventions, and lower mortality rates.

But here’s the truth:

The current administration continues to underfund, undervalue, and ignore the very communities that doulas serve — and the doulas themselves.

So, we’re building a platform that takes the administrative load off doulas' shoulders — so they can focus on what really matters: supporting families. We’re streamlining the behind-the-scenes work that drains time and energy, so doulas can do more of the hands-on care that changes lives. There isn't a platform on the market yet that meets doulas' needs, and we're here to change that.
