My name is Marvin. I'm a dad and a game developer on a mission to build a completely free, ad-free educational app for children who learn differently. My son thrives on interactive learning—tapping, exploring, and engaging with visual worlds on the iPad. I wanted to create something safe and high-quality that perfectly matches the playful way he interacts with the world.
Bringing the Vision to LifeI had already created a 3D crab character years ago, and when I saw how much he reacted to bright, animated visuals, I decided to bring that character into the game. From there, I added simple 3D objects and playful elements he enjoys, like bubbles that float across the screen and pop when tapped.I also noticed how much he learned from physical letter blocks, so I designed the game to mirror that same hands-on, visual style. What started as something I built at home for my child has grown into a mission: to create learning tools that support kids who benefit from extra visual cues, repetition, and encouragement.
A Mission for Special Needs LearnersThis project is inspired by my experience as a parent of a child with special needs, and my goal is to create tools that are welcoming and supportive for kids who learn differently. The app is now live on the App Store, and I’m raising funds to continue improving it, add more features, characters, and sounds, and bring this project to more families who might need the same kind of support.
