A Heartfelt Plea to Save Colombia's Innocent Children: Building Hope for the Next Generation

Greetings from Colombia, in the small city of Ibague. For the past several months I've been living here to help the kids in a community ensnared by poverty and violence. The children bear the heaviest burden as they are vulnerable to the horrific things that happen regularly in their neighborhood. They live in a world where every day is a battle for survival, where basic necessities like clean water, food, medicine, shelter, and protection are a distant dream. Their innocence is stolen from them, and God has put it on my heart to build a Safe House Orphanage for them.

The children daily battle for survival and are faced with the horrors of crime, drugs, prostitution, and the unimaginable clutches of human trafficking. This is currently the kids haunting reality,

A safe place sanctuary that stands as a beacon of light amidst the darkness. It's more than just bricks and mortar; it's the promise of a better future, a glimmer of hope for these innocent kids. A place where they can escape the horrors, find solace, nourishment, and education - a chance to dream, to heal, and to flourish.

The grim specter of human trafficking haunts these children, their lives constantly at risk of abduction into a life of horrific suffering. I'm here in Colombia, dedicating my life to these children and the dream of building a Safe House Orphanage for them. My commitment to their well-being is unwavering, and I implore you to join me in this mission. Your support is the key to unlocking their second chance at life. Your donation, no matter the size, is vital to beginning construction on the building immediately. To start construction of the building, an initial downpayment of $7,500 is required. The comprehensive budget for the construction project amounts to $15,000. It's important to note that I've already secured the property and the basic structural framework; however, significant development is still necessary.

The scope of work includes the installation of walls, roofing, flooring, windows, the addition of a second floor, plumbing systems, and various other essential components. I've effectively reduced the overall project cost through strategic negotiations, leveraging the substantial publicity potential associated with this endeavor. Notably, I've garnered competitive price quotes from other contractors, further enhancing our cost savings.

Upon successful completion of the building, a secondary round of funding will be pursued to purchase the interior supplies such as computers, books, a food pantry, a 300-gallon water tank for clean water, beds, beanbags, furniture, musical instruments, television equipment, educational games, and more.

In a world of so much darkness and evil, we must come together to protect these kids. We must pave the way to a brighter future for them. As depicted in the attached video, these children harbor aspirations and dreams for their futures. However, the harsh reality they face is that without our help during their formative years, the chances of them reaching those goals are slim.
