Build a wildlife hospital for Pawz For Thought
Do you want to join us in making a difference?
We are a small animal rescue and rehoming charity which operates in the North East of England. It was formed as a positive response to the distressingly high number of animal welfare issues in the region. We mainly work in the North East but distance is never a barrier if the right home is found. We help wildlife as well as domestic animals and rely on donations and volunteers.
We are fundraising with the aim to build the very first Pawz For Thought animal hospital in Sunderland.
We would love to create and build an animal hospital to get local wildlife the medical treatment needed as soon as they arrive better servicing the region with veterinary care immediately.
The land was purchased by the charity years ago in preparation for growth. Phase 1 is about the planning and development of the build in line with our ethos to support wildlife with sustainable building.
Eco-design considers environmental aspects at all stages of the product development process, striving for products which make the lowest possible environmental impact throughout the product life cycle.
Landscaping with native, drought-resistant plants and water-efficient practices. Building quality, products from sustainable sources, durable structures. Reducing and recycling construction and demolition waste. Insulating well and ventilating appropriately.
We hope you will join us on our journey to make this dream a reality - we cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support.
