After 23 years in the Marine Corps and more than 1,000 rides as a rideshare driver, I continued seeing a problem Marines have dealt with for years: many civilian drivers cannot enter military installations. A Marine may be dropped at the gate while the barracks, unit, school, or residence is still miles away—often during weekends, late nights, and liberty periods.

That is why I’m building AMETION—America’s Transportation. The mission is simple: provide Marines, veterans, and military families with safer, more dependable transportation that gets them where they actually need to go—not merely to the gate.

AMETION is being designed around an exclusively military-connected Operator network. The platform will recruit qualified active-duty Marines, reservists, veterans, military spouses, and eligible adult dependents—not general-public drivers. Active-duty participation will require compliance with command policies and any necessary approval. Every Operator must also satisfy all licensing, insurance, screening, safety, and legal requirements.

This mission is also about creating flexible income opportunities within our military community while improving transportation safety for Marines and their families.

The planned rollout will occur in phases:

• Launch a controlled prototype at Camp Pendleton
• Expand throughout San Diego County, including MCAS Miramar, Navy installations, and Coast Guard facilities
• Move to the East Coast, beginning with Camp Lejeune, MCAS New River, and surrounding installations
• Expand into Texas, beginning in the San Antonio military community
• Continue growing rapidly from one military community to the next nationwide

Each phase will move forward only after the required funding, testing, approvals, insurance, and legal requirements are in place.

I’ve launched a GoFundMe to support AMETION’s first stage of development, including the website, application, company formation, insurance planning, and required legal and regulatory work.

If you believe this problem needs to be solved, please consider donating or sharing the fundraiser. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing it with another Marine or military supporter would still make a real difference.

This is a business-development fundraiser, not an investment offering. Contributions do not provide ownership or a charitable tax receipt.

Thank you for supporting a mission created by a Marine to serve our military community.
