I have been seeing an overwhelming growth of ḥadīth rejectors for a long while now, which is saddening to see. Many muslims come across ahadith they don’t understand, and the way these ahadith are presented to them by enemies of Islam, makes them reject what is authentically attributed to the prophet ﷺ. When it comes to rejection of ahadith it is usually due to the following reasons: 

A ḥadīth may use idioms, metaphors, or specific expressions of its time. Without a sharḥ, someone may take it literally and miss its true intent. 

A ḥadīth might seem to contradict another ḥadīth or a verse of the Qurʾān. The ʿulamāʾ reconcile them through sharḥ, but a reader without the sharḥ may see it as a contradiction and cause them to reject the ḥadīth when the issue lies with the missing understanding. - 

Some ḥadīths give a general ruling, others restrict or qualify it. Without sharḥ, a reader may apply a general ḥadīth where a specific condition actually applies.

 Certain rulings in ḥadīth were later abrogated. Without sharḥ, one might apply an abrogated ruling as if it were still valid, or some rulings may seem to contradict the Qurʾān and are also therefore rejected. 

Some ḥadīths address events, people, or customs of the Prophet ﷺ’s time. Without a sharḥ, their application today may be misunderstood. 

Without sharḥ, a person may interpret ḥadīths about Allāh’s names and attributes incorrectly, leading to taʾwīl (interpreting them) or taʿṭīl (denying them). 

Some ḥadīths often require a detailed understanding of fiqh to understand their rulings. Without a sharḥ, rulings can be misconstrued.

 Not only that, I’ve also seen some people reject ḥadīths when they are presented to them by enemies of Islām due to being under pressure and also not having the sharḥ there to help them understand why the Prophet ﷺ said what he said or did what he did. So to try and combat and annihilate this issue, I will be making a website containing the shurūḥ from different books explaining all the ḥadīths. 

 For ḥadīths in Bukhārī and Muslim I wil use Fatḥ al-Bārī by Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī (d. 852 AH) & Sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī By Imam al-Asbahānī (d. 449 AH) & Sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim by al-Nawawī and if a supposed issue may not be addressed there I will use other books from the scholars explaining them. 

 When it comes to the other 4 main hadith books I will also add gradings from other earlier muhaditheen. 

 For the Sunan Abī Dāwūd I will use Sharḥ Sunan Abī Dāwūd by Ibn Raslān al-Ramlī al-Shāfiʿī & ʿAwn al-Maʿbūd, Sharḥ Sunan Abī Dāwūd by Abū Ṭayyib al-ʿAẓīm Ābādī For the sharḥ of Sunan Ibn Mājah I will use Ḥāshiyat al-Sindī ʿalā Sunan Ibn Mājah by Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Hādī al-Sindī & Al-Dībāja ʿalā Sunan Ibn Mājah, by al-Damīrī & Sharḥ by Muḥammad al-Amīn al-Hararī al-Ethiyūbī 

 For the sharḥ of al-Tirmidhī I will use al-Tirmidhī’s comments himself alongside Tuḥfat al-Aḥwadhī bi-Sharḥ Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Mubārakfūrī. For Sunan al-Nasāʾī I will use Dhakhīrat al-ʿUqbā fī Sharḥ al-Mujtabā by al-ʿAẓīm Ābādī. 

 I will not use scans for the website. Just the arabic text of the sharh and english. The fundraiser will be in helping me purchase business plan for 3 years, and plugins that’ll contribute to boosting the SEO Ranking, so the website will hopefully appear at the top of search results, whenever you type a ḥadīth reference & for the website to have a faster, more flexible and optimised web theme. 

 May Allāh ﷻ make it easier for us all to understand this dīn he has blessed us with and may repel us from any shubuhāt spread by the enemies of Islām.

With this plan hopefully it will be easier for Muslims everywhere to find the sharḥ for the ḥadīth they are looking for without having to know the Arabic language. 

Even though it is important to learn the language, many are not able, so hopefully this can make it easier for people.

Ya Allah Lord, increase me in knowledge.

Make us among those who benefit from what You have taught them, who walk in Your light, and who rise through their knowledge in this world.
