Shalini Singh, known as “Moon,” returned to our Creator in the Holy month of Ramadan 1446. Moon was the loving mother of Dawud, Mohammed, Zakir, and Marium. Those fortunate to have known Moon will never forget her soft voice and radiant smile.

Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “When a man dies, his deed come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah,or knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” (Muslim)

Moon reverted to Islam and dedicated her time to volunteering in the local mosques. As Sadaqah Jariyah for Moon, the funds collected through your generosity will be given to Zakat Foundation as Sadaqah Jariyah for work towards building a water well.
