Build a water tank for Muhammed Ilias Ali Miah in Bangladesh

Assalamu’alaikum

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

On the 16th of December 2024, our beloved brother Ilias Ali had sadly left the dunya and returned back to Allah SWT.

Ilias was a son, brother, uncle and a father to his beautiful baby girl.

Ilias was more than just a friend, he was a brother to me. You could always count on him. Those who knew him would agree he didn't hold an ounce of arrogance or hatred in his heart he lived his life expressing nothing but kindness and warmth to his family, friends and strangers. He was one of a kind who always made everyone around him laugh. There will never be another like him!

To honour my dear friend, I’d like to ask everyone to come together and raise funds to create a water well(s) in Bangladesh as it’s best said “The best form of charity is to give someone water to drink.” (Ibn Majah) May Allah have mercy on him.

In drought-hit areas of Bangladesh, women and children spend hours fetching water. One water well cost £880 which will help transform and protect an entire village by installing a deep water well to provide clean water and blessings for years to come. I will be sending all donations to Human Appeal who have been working in Bangladesh for over 30 years. In 2023 they installed approximately 400 wells in Bangladesh alone.
