Build a viking house!

My name is Norse and I’m building a Viking house! The community asked how they could help fund the project so here you go!

Smiðurheim! The idea is simple. Build a Viking style smithy house where people can come to learn the art of bladesmithing in the nordic style. We want to be able to host 5-6 people at a time for a whole weekend.

We’re going to build the house semi traditional, with the main structure being similar to a pole barn. There will be an exterior (covered) forge area, an interior work space, as well as a little bunk house area!

The biggest thing we need are materials. We’re trying to build with as much recycled materials as we can, but there will be things that will have to be purchased to adhere to code and safety.
