Hi, my name is Roxy, I work alongside BCPU, Pedson Kasume, UK Chaps in Uganda to help with different fund-raising projects to help the lives of those living in poverty. There are many, many struggles in Uganda for people who haven't had an education. I am a chairman of UK CHAPs (Communities Helping African Projects) which began in 2011. We have supported BCPU (Bwera Charity Projects Uganda) since being at grass roots level with them back in 2011. We have seen great improvement and growth in some of the orphans we initially set to help and more have been added. We now join with Bwera Charity Mbarara on an amazing initiative to help the youths from the streets and ghettos of Mbarara. They live in hope but funds can be low at times. We have a building which was swapped for a maize mill we used to run, which we want to renovate to become a top quality private school. It is initially school under 7's before they join primary school. The widows we have worked with for the past 14 years still hope and long for their children to have an uninterrupted education, for hope of a better future. Amongst other projects and self-sustaining initiatives, we believe a school is the best way to help this community. The children who are orphans and vulnerable will have a free education, and those in the wider community who will pay for a quality education will generate an income to help wider. We have lots of dreams and plans and are always working together to achieve these. Please would you help by donating?
