*The names of $100+ donors will be listed on a permanent plaque at the school, to honor their commitment to its founding*
The Mark E. Sanders Early Childhood Development Program at Ascend Education Ecosystem will be an innovative childcare & education facility focused on helping the youngest and most vulnerable children of Kenya’s Worst Slum, Giotto.
The children of Giotto live under constant threat of death due to malnutrition, disease, and environmental hazards, and are likely to face problems such as sexual violence/exploitation, crime, drug abuse, domestic abuse, discrimination, joblessness, and precarity if they continue to live there.
It is for these reasons, that I have taken the initiative to do everything in my power to change the circumstances of these children. This school & care facility is the first step in providing these kids & the people of the slum a better life.
Thanks to a generous donation on behalf of Mark E. Sanders (In which the ECD program is named after), half of the money for the school has been raised. It is up to you to help provide the rest & change the lives of the people who need it the most.
Please, check out the video & slide deck below for more information & don’t be afraid to reach out if you have any questions.
