Build a Safe Haven for Girls in Memory of Virginia Dancy

Hello. I'm Rita Dancy Holland and I am very blessed to have my sweet mama at my home with me now. For those that don't know her, she is in stage 4 lung cancer. She has lived a wonderful life with God always at the center. She has been an amazing wife, mother and friend. She made sure her 3 girls knew Jesus at a very young age, by getting us to church whenever the doors were open. Everyone that does know her, I'm sure, will say what they love about her most, (besides her huge heart) is her quick wit. She has a gift of making people laugh and feel special. Now, even though her body is losing it's strength and she is losing the ability of doing things for herself, she's still in good spirits most days. It's so hard to let her go, and we will miss her so very much. But, we know she'll be with her Lord Jesus, and we will be with her again one day.

Now, to the purpose of my GoFundMe Request. I have been supporting Faith Love Mission Uganda, in Africa, for almost 8 years now. The Lord is using Pastor Gerald Richmond's ministry to spread the gospel in communities, along with establishing churches. However, their main focus is on their children. They currently have over 200 orphans they support through housing, food, health and education. You can check them out on Facebook (Faith Love Mission UG).

Pastor Gerald, his prayer warriors, fellowship groups, ministry leaders and church elders, have been praying for my mama during her cancer journey. This blesses my heart so much to know the great love being poured out from across the world, from people we don't even know. Through their consistent prayers and fasting, the Lord placed something deeply meaningful in their hearts; a calling to build a home in honor and memory of my sweet mama for her love, kindness and faith. It will not be just a building, but a refuge for little girls who have been victims of child trafficking, sexual exploitation, and abuse. A safe haven, where broken hearts will be mended . A place where lost innocence will find healing. A place where little girls will encounter the love of Jesus and begin again.

Through this home my mama's legacy will live on, not only in our hearts, but in the lives of many precious little girls whose futures will be changed forever. Through this home, generations will know that a woman of great love and compassion once walked this earth, and her life brought hope, even after she went to be with her Lord and Savior.

They have already broke ground. Brother Gerald is being very transparent by sending photos and videos of the progress. I have all the detailed designs and building materials along with pricing. I am in contact with Brother Gerald every few days through WhatsApp. He sends photos and video's of the progress each day. We also do video calls through WhatsApp when needed. For anyone that would like to be a part of this wonderful ministry, and the legacy of my mama, I will be transparent by sending updates on everything I receive. Please pass this on to friends, churches, and family that may want to be a part of my mama's legacy. Remember, all donations are tax deductible When the home is completed, Todd and I plan to travel to Uganda to dedicate the Virginia Dancy Recovery Home. We encourage anyone that would like to take part in this journey to go with us. We will be volunteering at the orphanage while we are there.
