This fundraiser is to raise money for Mari and Carlos’ birth family in Guatemala, who are in need of a safe, dry home.

Currently, we have a wonderful person who visits and brings food and other necessities to the family in a very remote area of Guatemala. He said the house they live in is in extreme need of help. Right now, their house has a leaking roof and a dirt floor. With it currently being the rainy season, water is leaking into their home almost daily. The family also does not have walls to keep themselves dry from the rain or secure from the wind or other weather elements. We are hoping to raise enough money to fund a new roof and walls for the family’s home.

Any contribution, big or small, will help transform their home and make this home a safe place for them! We are looking for $5,500 to cover all of the costs. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
