Thanks to the generous donations so far, as well as an amazing organization called Faithworks, we have successfully had the ramp installed!!

Our next hurdle: transportation

Once my patient is able to transfer herself from her wheelchair to the car, we’re going to need a bigger vehicle. So our next goal is to raise enough money to get a van. As always, your help is so very appreciated!

Hello! My name is Chandler and I am a home health Speech Language Pathologist. I am working with a 35 year old mom who recently had a stroke. She has 8 year old twins, and her mother (who is also disabled) is her primary caregiver. She has made as much progress as she can in home therapy and needs to go to outpatient physical and occupational therapy. Unfortunately, she is now a full time wheelchair user and is unable to leave her home because she does not have a ramp and is unable to use steps. Because of the location of her stairs, we will have to take down part of the wall on her porch to build the ramp, making it a very expensive endeavor. I am raising money just for supplies, and have volunteers that will assist with building it. Please help me get this incredible woman a ramp so that she can progress to outpatient therapy and work towards gaining strength back on the right side of her body.
