Building a well on behalf of Mahad Mohamed

Inna lilahi wa ina ilayhi raji’un. I am Mahad’s sister Nafiso Mohamed from Melbourne, Australia. A few days ago, my brother Mahad returned to his lord. Mahad was the kindest, friendliest and most caring person and was a light to everyone who knew him. On his behalf, me and my family are fundraising to ensure that he benefits from the reward of Sadaqa jariyah.
Please help us achieve our aim of building a well in Mahad’s name. Inshallah this will ensure that our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Somalia will have access to clean and easily accessible drinking water. Specifically, this donation will be made out to Muslim Aid Australia. Through donating to Muslim Aid Australia, we will be able to help combat the water situation In Somalia by building a shallow-water well in Somalia. A water-well will on average benefit approximately 200 families in need.
With the remaining funds, we plan to donate to our brothers and sisters in Yemen. This donation will be made out to Islamic relief Australia who directly provide aid to Yemen. Islamic Relief has been providing an emergency response since the conflict in Yemen started. This work has reached more than 3.4 million people in 2019 alone, spanning across many sectors including food aid, water, sanitation and hygiene, nutrition and healthcare.
