Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

My name is Anisha, and I write this message with a heart overflowing with love, grief, and hope — hope that Allah will accept this effort as a means of continuous reward for my beloved father, Mahmad Yoosoof Lallmahomed, who returned to his Lord on October 10th 2025, at the age of 66.

My father was a man of gentle heart, pure intentions, and steadfast faith. He brought warmth to every soul he met and carried kindness in every word he spoke. His love for Allah, for the Prophet ﷺ, and for his family was deep and unwavering.

In 2022, he was diagnosed with lung cancer — a test that changed our lives in an instant. Yet throughout every trial, he remained patient and full of tawakkul (trust in Allah). Even in pain, he would smile softly and say,

“Allah is with me.”

He never complained. Instead, he asked only for du‘ā, Qur’an, and closeness to his Creator. Despite his illness, he performed three ‘Umrahs, saying each time that his strength came from Allah alone. SubḥānAllāh, his faith never wavered — it only grew stronger.

Now that Allah has called him home, I wish to honour his legacy in a way that continues to benefit him for eternity: by building a mosque (masjid) in his name as Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous charity that will bring reward for every prayer offered, every child who learns Qur’an, and every tear shed in sujood — long after we are gone.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
— (Bukhari & Muslim)

⸻

Our Goal

We are raising £20,000 to build a small mosque in an area of genuine need, in shā’ Allāh. This will be a place where people can pray, learn, and connect with their faith — a lasting legacy of light, mercy, and remembrance of Allah.

At this stage, I am in the process of speaking with trusted registered charities who specialise in mosque construction across different countries. As soon as the most suitable organisation is confirmed, I will share full details of the chosen charity, location, and cost breakdown on this page for transparency.

⸻

Transparency & Updates

To ensure complete trust and accountability:
• No funds will be used until the final charity and project are verified.
• All charity confirmation, receipts, and construction updates will be publicly shared here.
• If, for any reason, the selected project cannot go ahead, funds will be redirected (with donor consent) to another verified Sadaqah Jariyah project on behalf of my father.

⸻

How You Can Help
1. Donate whatever you can — even the smallest amount can build eternal reward.
2. Share this page widely so others can join in this sadaqah.
3. Make du‘ā for my father — that Allah forgives him, expands his grave with light, and grants him the highest rank in Jannat al-Firdaws.

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” — (Muslim)

⸻

A Personal Du‘ā

May Allah accept this as a means of mercy and forgiveness for my father.
May He grant him and all our loved ones Jannat al-Firdaws, and bless everyone who contributes — through giving, sharing, or praying — with goodness in this world and the Ākhirah.

Jazakum Allahu khayran for your du‘ās, support, and kindness.

With love and gratitude,
Anisha
