Build a mosque and education center in Taraba

To honor the memory of my grandmother, who was gifted in teaching the Quran in the mid-20th century, I am building an education center and mosque in Jalingo, Taraba State in northern Nigeria, to cater to orphans within a very underserved community.

My long-term vision is to provide an opportunity for the orphans I come across every day, to get good quality education and be empowered. As part of this project, we also intend to run a school feeding program, which would be open to the public.

I have invested over $10,000 in the project. last Ramadan 2023, we raised USD 6,300 by the grace of God, thanks to all your support . With this money, we improved infrastructure such as the outer perimeter fence, installation of windows and doors, sinking of a borehole, and the classrooms, toilets, and staff quarters.

To finish the project, we need to finish the plumbing, plastering, electricals and painting. Please donate to support me in achieving this goal, as a guide:

$500 would pay for substantial parts of the funding required to fit the plumbing

$750 would cover some of the cost of the electricals required

$1000 would pay for half of the cost required to roof the project
