Salamalaykum - my name is Raheela and I am here to raise funds to build a mosque in a rural part of Afghanistan where there is currently no mosque for the people.

Charity does not decrease wealth and this charity will be one that benefits you for your lifetime and beyond.

Me and my dad are building a masjid in my village Pashad in Kunar Province of Afghanistan. This masjid is going to be built in a rural area where there is currently NO masjid and NO provision for prayers. There is a school in this area and the children from the school as well as the locals gather in the fields to pray their salat. After scoping the Pashad area we have found this is the best place to build a masjid, we have discussed it with the authorities and we have been granted permission to build. The masjid will provide a place for prayer but also a madrasah which will be open to both boys and girls. This is a huge matter to have accepted by authorities as we know how difficult it is for young girls to be granted access to education in Afghanistan. My father has worked really hard for this, may Allah reward him.
