Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (Surely we belong to Allah, and surely to Him we will return.)

This fundraiser has been created with the permission of Asif Saddique wife, Tayba, in loving memory of her beloved husband and the father of their two sons. Asif sadly passed away on 26 December 2024.

Tayba’s wish is to build a masjid in her husband’s memory as sadaqah jariyah—an ongoing act of charity whose rewards may continue for him, Insha’Allah.

Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Qur’an:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that grows seven ears, with one hundred grains in each. Allah multiplies the reward for whoever He wills.”

— Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

Our goal is to raise enough money for a masjid through MATW Project. The net funds raised, after GoFundMe’s processing fees, will be transferred to MATW Project’s masjid-building programme. Receipts and project updates will be shared so that donors can see how their contributions have been used.

If the full target is not reached, all money collected will still be donated towards mosque construction through MATW Project. If more than the final project cost is raised, the remaining money will go towards their masjid fund.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help create a place where people can pray, learn the Qur’an and remember Allah for many years to come.
