Build A Masjid For Ustadha Sadiya and Haajar Ali

Assalamualaikum,

In the blessed month of Ramadan, we mourn the loss of two beautiful souls who have returned to Allah: Ustadha Sadiya and her daughter Haajar Ali. Ustadha Sadiya was a well-known figure in the South London community, always dedicated to serving in the path of Allah and changed the lives of many people. She bravely fought a battle with cancer, but, sadly, passed away. Years later, her daughter Haajar also succumbed to illness, making them both shaheedat (martyrs). We pray that Allah reunites them in the highest ranks of Jannah.

This GoFundMe campaign has been created to raise funds for the construction of a masjid in their names. A mosque is central to any Muslim community, serving as a place of worship, reflection, and unity. We seek your support to help us build a mosque that will serve generations to come.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that Allah (SWT) says that if someone builds a masjid for His sake, He will build a similar house for them in paradise. As we grieve their passing, we are reminded that in Islam, the rewards for acts of charity and good deeds continue even after death.
