Build A Masjid For Late Bahrija Handzic

ﺑِﺴْـــــــﻢِﷲِﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَﻦِﺍلرَّﺣِﻴﻢ

Our Goal: Build a Masjid and to be part of a legacy! All in memory of our late beloved Mother, Bahrija Handzic. We have set this page for Sadaqah donations which Insha’Allah will benefit both the deceased and ourselves as ongoing charity, so join in and reap the rewards!

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and knowing.” (Quran 2:261)

Insha’Allah, the money raised will be utilised for building a Mosque where it is needed the most.

Indonesia was struck by an earthquake measuring 5.6m. Many buildings including Masjids were destroyed. The Masjid construction will help to provide a permanent structure for the communities. With a majority Muslim population, the Masjid is essential for this location. Currently a temporary tarpaulin tent is being used as a Musallah. A new Masjid construction will accommodate Jummah, daily prayers as well as a place for teaching and learning and propagating.

Building a mosque is a wonderful act of Sadaqah Jariyah! The reward for building a mosque is unending, and as long as people are benefiting from the mosque you’ve helped build through your donations, then you will continue to receive rewards and benefits from Allah (SWT) even in the Hereafter.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]

May Allah accept our intentions, forgive all the sins of the marhoomeen, grant them jannatul firdous, and elevate all their status.

May Allah accept and grants us all barakah in this campaign.
