Build a Lodge with the Shikaakwa Prayer Warriors

Greetings and Salutations,
Granny Spider (Laila) here, thank you for checking us out. We are the Shikaakwa Prayer Warriors, a non-denominational band of grassroots local folks here in Chicago that gather to pray, honor and celebrate the seasonal changes of Mother Earth.
We are raising money to purchase land and build a sacred lodge. This lodge, when built, is for All to come and create healing within themselves through the ceremonies, classes and workshops that are offered.
The lodge is an eight-sided wood structure with a central fireplace and can be used all year round. We can gather for the eight seasonal festivals of the earth's cycles that honor the four seasons, solstices and equinoxes. The space will be open to the greater community and teachers of different healing modalities that want to share their offerings and gifts.
At the lodge, we as human beings can connect to the natural world around us, learn something new, heal and grow through understanding ourselves a little deeper and a little more gently. All are welcome.
