Hi, I'm Josh Thurlow, and I am a baseball coach in Council, Idaho. I am raising money to renovate our local youth's field. Right now, Council only offers youth baseball up to age 13. We have no field accommodations to have Babe Ruth or American Legion programs, and our high school doesn't offer baseball or softball.

I am wanting to change that for our community's youth, and to do so, it is proving really expensive. So, I am starting this GoFundMe to help us secure funds to build these Council kids a field of dreams to accommodate all ages, all the way through age 18 seasons. A lot of these kids will never be able to play baseball after age 13 in Council, and some of them have the talent to move onto the next level but will not be able to even showcase what they can do unless we get a field for them to play on. The Babe Ruth organization and American Legion will not let teams join without a home field! That's what I'm trying to do for our community's youth.

I got smart goal selected we have an overall goal of $800k thats to get the field the way we want it to look. We need things just to be able to have a season also that being said the first purchases will be bases and new stubs concrete to set the stubs and the most important is a portable pitchers mound we want to be able to get two different sizes of pitchers mounds so our younger kids will be able to use a mound also. I will be posting updates of all purchases and gonna get a Facebook group started to post the progress follow us there
