My wife and I came together with a common dream of finding a piece of land with peyote on it and preserving those plants for the future.

In July of 2022 we finally were able to buy a small piece of land in Northern Mexico with some beautiful peyote medicine growing on it.

This land is in an area rapidly being destroyed for new housing. New land owners “clean” their land by bulldozing or manually removing every living thing on their land, including peyote cactus.

We want to do the opposite. We want to protect our plants currently living on the land and provide a small sanctuary for plants in the area that are going to be destroyed by development.

We could use help funding a fence to surround our property. A simple fence would protect our plants from local farm animals that live nearby. This is extremely important because peyote needs nurse plants or shade plants to thrive in the intense sun of the desert.

Our land has been severely overgrazed and this fence is currently our highest priority.

If we raise over $300, we would like to construct a simple barbed wire fence.

For $1000 we could put up a nice fence that would protect our land from local goats and horses that looks nice and has a gate.
