Build a Dream - Send Addison to Stanford

Hi. My name is Kayla, and I am the big sister of Addison Izeta-Dry. I am raising funds and generating support to help send my little sister to attend a 10-day Intensive Law & Trial program held July 21 -July 31, 2022, hosted at Stanford Law School in California. These funds will help pay for her airfare and tuition into the program.

 

Here is what my sister, Addison, would like to say;

 

     My name is Addison Izeta-Dry. I am an upcoming Junior at Irion County High School. I am a dedicated student taking  AP classes and dual credit courses through Howard College San Angelo. I am very active in Debate, Theatre, UIL Competitions, and a member of the National Beta Club.

 

     I received a personal invitation from Envision by WorldStrides in collaboration with Stanford University to attend a 10-day Intensive Law & Trial program on the Stanford campus in California. During this program, I will learn the theory and practice of law from preeminent legal professionals, including Stanford Law School professors, develop my leadership abilities and establish a roadmap for becoming a lawyer.

 

     My foster parent, Terri Dry, whom I call Mom, has loved, nurtured and raised me since I was six months old. In 2019, she could finally legally adopt my little brother and me giving me the permanence of my family. It is her strength and support that drives me to follow my dreams!

     That dream is to study law and become a compassionate and influential attorney, but I need your support to help get me to Stanford and my career off to a great start!
