Build a Dog Run for Washington Heights

We are a group of dog lovers in District 12, in the Washington Heights area of New York City. We are organizing to create and operate a dog run on 161st Street and Edgecombe Avenue and WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

The scholar, poet, and activist Larry Neal was chosen to represent the dog run because of his ancestral connection to the neighborhood and his commitment to uplifting the African American and Hispanic community. We felt it important to remember the origins and history of such a vibrant district. By doing so we promote and embrace diversity, love, and respect for all.

OUR MISSION:

We hope that The Larry Neal Dog Run becomes the go-to destination for dog owners in the area, offering a unique and high-quality experience for both dogs and their owners.

We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable space for dogs to play and socialize while offering exceptional customer service and a range of additional pet care services.
