John Trautwein has been a personal friend and inspiration to me for a number of years. In 2010, he suffered a tragic loss when his son Will committed suicide. Will was loved by his friends, an athlete, a musician, and an exemplary human being. John being John, picked himself up and used this tragic event as a motivation to start a society to help prevent suicide, performing many interviews, presenting around the country, writing a book, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
In 2020, his charity (Will to Live ) will be holding a 10 year anniversary event, where I hope to present him with a custom built motorcycle for his foundation. It may be auctioned off or taken to events when he speaks to teenagers.
I've been building and painting motorcycles for a number of years now, and will be funding the paint and custom machine work, as well as dedicating my labor to paint and build the bike.
Donate what you can, even the smallest amounts help. And please note that this is a surprise to be presented to John's foundation upon completion.
