Help Bugsy Fight CPV
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Preshas and I’m raising money for my beautiful Frenchie Bugsy to help him beat this awful virus known as Canine Parvovirus (CPV).
Bugsy is my 8 month old French bulldog, who has been fighting this virus for almost 5 days now. Bugsy is the most loving, affectionate, energetic dog. On the morning of February 29th, my family had noticed Bugsy wasn’t feeling his best. It started with throwing up and diarrhea, to then being overly exhausted and barley wanting to get up. As the day passed, we began to notice severe changes in him, which were a cause for concern. We rushed him to the vet, where they had to stabilize him, and then recommend he get transferred to University of Guelph Emergency Animal Clinic, where they specialize in the matter.
CPV is a highly contagious viral disease of dogs that commonly causes gastrointestinal illness, and without proper veterinary care and hospitalization, can be fatal with a survival rate of only 5%.
The medical bill for Bugsy was an estimated range between $9,000-$12,000 (which can increase with added exams etc.), which needs to be paid for him to continue to be hospitalized and treated.
Although times are tough for many people right now, absolutely anything helps.
Please donate and keep my beautiful boy in your prayers.
Thank you.
