3rd Open Heart Surgery Fundraiser for Christina
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
I'm setting up this GoFundMe for my daughter, Christina. She just turned 39 on Dec. 8th and she is going in for her third open heart surgery on Jan. 6th. This time however, she is an adult. She's a fighter and a survivor but being an adult going in for open heart surgery is scary. She is getting a ring put in on an artery, a pulmonary homograft, and a valve replacement at St. Luke's, which is almost 2 hrs away from home. Obviously she is terrified but more so she is worried about her finances.
Medicated to be at a heart rate of 50 bpm she is very tired all the time, short of breath and unable to deal with a lot of stress. I'm looking to get financial help for her so she can get through the next two months worry free while she is in the hospital and recovering. Her expenses are rent, cell phone, internet, and food. That is all that she is willing to ask for help with.
Christina is a single mother of a 19 yr old son and has just recently became an empty nester, which in itself has provided a lot of stress. She's a graphic designer and loves what she does, plus she happens to be very good at it. She's excited to put this behind her and get back to work doing what she loves. She rarely asks for help from anyone, goes out of her way to help anyone if they need it, and her family and friends have been there for her but now we need help too. Please help me, help her, stay afloat during this incredibly stressful and terrifyingly hard time.
Thank You!!
