Buffys emergency spinal surgery

We have had a hard few years.

Our kids have had a hard few years. Going through DV, divorce, moving house and schools etc. and now despite it going against every fibre of my being, I have to ask for help.

Buffy our 4 year old French bulldog has slipped a disc in her spine. She’s paralysed her back legs and can’t walk.

Her Insurance will cover £4000 of the cost of spinal decompression surgery but no more.

Buffy was a gift to our daughter, to help her combat her symptoms of PTSD after witnessing DV. Buffy the vampire slayer. To fight the monsters and demons.

I don’t know how to tell them, especially my daughter that she will either be paralysed or will need to be put to sleep.

most people know Buffy from being shop dog at our barbershop. She’s a loved presence despite being a pain in the arse, successfully winning employee of the month for the last 46 consecutive months.
