Hello, my name is Betty Lynn Thomson and I'm fundraising for Emergency surgery for my daughter. Most of you know her as Jennifer, but her given name at birth was Buffy. She was in a motorcycle accident. Her injuries resulted in a couple broken ribs. As well as her left leg has four separated breaks . She is a stubborn little thing and waited three days to go to the hospital after the crash. After the X-Rays it was discovered she broke 2 of her ribs, a plateau fracture in her knee and a broken tibia. Further X-rays have shown a broken ankle as well as a couple bones in her foot. The surgeon has given an estimate for this surgery of 550,000- 600,000 baht. She is living in Thailand and has no medical insurance to cover these costs. Wish as I may I do not have the funds to cover the surgery either. Those of you who know Buffy know her for her kind heart and how much she has helped friends, strangers and animals over the years. She has a huge heart and is usually the one doing the helping. Buffy is a fighter and has overcome more than most already in her 39 years of life. She has beat cancer twice and is still fighting her third round. She is a Mom, an Aunty, a Sister, a Daughter, a Friend and an all around amazing human. I've flown to Thailand to help her in her time of need but a mothers love can't fix broken bones or cure cancer.I have watched her struggle and in pain for 6 weeks now and it’s heartbreaking for a mom to experience. Time is of the essence and the surgery cannot be booked until 80% of the cost is paid upfront. I'm asking if its within your means to contribute by liking, sharing or donating, would be greatly appreciated The miscellaneous costs include a CT scan prior to surgery, medications and associated costs of her transportation as she has very limited mobility.
