A Buffalo Police Dispatcher, James Porter, has been fighting for his life these past few weeks. James was diagnosed with Lupus in 2016, and kidney failure in 2020. As a result of multiple health conditions, James was unfortunately placed in an induced coma with low brain activity. Most are unaware of this but James always wanted to be a Police Officer. He actually would’ve had a very good chance; consequently, his health conditions always prevented him from doing so. In that, James was very excited when he was hired as a Buffalo Police Dispatcher. According to his Lieutenant and the people he worked with, he was excellent while on the job. James was a shoulder for most while battling his own illness. The type of man who lights up the room when he walks in. He was a father of 4, and a true Bills fan. Any donations at this time will be given to his children.
