We are raising funds for our legendary Brother/Son/Husband/Step-Dad Troy (Budge). I'm his sister, writing this on the family's behalf.

Three months after a totally clear skin check, Troy has been blindsided with a Stage 4 Melanoma diagnosis, with multiple metastases. As you can imagine, it's hit pretty hard. He had zero symptoms 3 weeks prior to his diagnosis.

Troy works for himself, and so does his wife Kelly, which normally means freedom—but right now it means no sick leave, no safety net, no income, and bills that refuse to take a day off. Treatment is unpredictable. Some days he’ll be able to work; some days he absolutely won’t.

He's humble, strong willed, focused, and hates asking for help, which is why he will probably hate us for doing this! But he needs and deserves the help and support now more than ever before.

We’re raising funds so Troy can focus on fighting cancer, healing, and staying the funny, big-hearted human we love—without the added stress of wondering how to keep the lights on, or charge up the karaoke machine.

All proceeds will go directly to their joint account to help them pay their household bills, groceries and things like that, since they now have no income for an unknown period of time.
