Buddy’s veterinary bills and the cost for a place.

Hi everyone, I am fundraising for my four-year-old Boston Terrier, Buddy who was attacked by a great Dane on Saturday night. This was an unprovoked attack. This happened at a place that we were staying until I was able to get back on my feet after I had some hurricane of life issues come through, but we now are staying in my car. Buddy is lucky to be alive as the dog had him in a death grip and his jaws were locked around my dogs neck. I literally watched him throw him around like a ragdoll. I did everything I could to separate them and that is how I got hurt. I could not watch him die & I screamed for help for what seemed like forever. When the EMS came, I told them not to worry about me at that moment. I was in shock. I was in pain, but I was more worried about buddy dying and so they did me a favor and wrapped my fingers up, but they wrapped buddies neck up as well and showed me where to apply pressure because he was bleeding badly and you could feel the air coming out from his little body from the tooth punctures around his neck. When we got to Pearl animal Hospital they took him straight back, started  pain meds, antibiotics and assessed him. They did x-rays so now it’s kind of like we sit and wait and I watch him and I have to apply warm compresses every three hours and deal with the drainage and I don’t know what his bills are going to amount to yet but I know that I cannot afford them.  To keep my little guy alive that night, I would’ve given him my own life. Because of the huge amount of love that I have for buddy. I got hurt as well. I have two fingers on my left hand that had to be operated on. One is broken. I have to go back next Tuesday for another operation and there may be more. we won’t know until some time passes, but they have placed pins inside my finger and a plate for the nail , everything had to be taken off The meat under the nail bed that was attached had to be removed and is really painful. There’s been a hurricane of events that have happened in my life since the beginning of the year and I don’t understand it. I just know that I need any help that you guys can give, even if it’s just prayers, even a kind word because the people that own that property and all that are involved with that family have bad mouthed me and buddy and tried to insinuate that he’s a bad dog.  in my eyes, he’s perfect. A playful nip from him or even a snip when he’s aggravated, and somebody is messing with him as when the lady would spray him with vinegar compares nothing to what we have gone through and are still going through. That event stole his shine his spirit and almost crushed his life. He’s excited, he loves people and this has changed him and he did not provoke this attack. There was no barking from him,  there is no hyperactivity. When it happened, I was face-to-face with that Great Dane getting some laundry and then out of nowhe he attacked my dog. It was the most horrific thing I’ve ever been through my life and I’ve been through a lot and I would do it all to save my buddy. he is part of my heart. those of you know me, you know I love my dogs. I’m always sharing pictures or videos or funny things they’ve done because I love them. They are like my children. They are up-to-date on their shots, always have been and always will be and there’s never a question, whereas that other dog was not up-to-date. I was worried about rabies and begged for the hospital to give me the shots. when I went into surgery, the nurse informed me that we would know already if I had rabies and I was like well of course because I would be dead, but nevertheless, we need help. We need prayers and we need with this series of bad things to stop. I’m a good person. I try to be nice to people. I do everything I can for people that I love and even ones that I don’t.  I still try to help so please if you can, help us. if you’re one of the ones that would like to badmouth me, please know that is a criminal offense so contact me privately because this is to help buddy and I recover.
