Buddy wasn’t just a horse—he was a teacher, a healer, and a friend to everyone who met him. Through his gentle spirit and endless patience, Buddy gave children the confidence to try, the courage to grow, and the joy of feeling truly connected. His big heart also touched our volunteers in ways words can barely capture, and you’ll hear their stories in the video we’ve shared.

Saying goodbye to Buddy has been heartbreaking. Alongside the emotional loss, the costs surrounding the passing of a horse are significant. We are hoping to recoup some of these expenses so we can continue the work that Buddy loved—helping children of trauma experience the magic of horse therapy without cost to families.
