Buddy Puppy

A few weekends ago I accidentally ran over a puppy hidden in the bushes with the lawnmower - He screamed, jumped up, and tried to limp away - I saw bones and blood at the end of his tail and snatched him up, wrapped him in a towel, and rushed him to the Pet ER .

At the ER I learned that I just nicked the tip of his tail with the lawnmower, and he got a few stitches - no biggie, but the reason he was passed out in my bushes was because he was super messed up and dying - and maybe hegot  hit by a car. X-rays showed that his left femur was broken just above the knee and his right leg has a slipped epiphysis. ER couldn’t do anything beyond patching up his tail and they sent me home with some pain meds, antibiotics, and instructions to see a vet first thing in the morning.

Next morning I took the puppy to see Dr. Hendrix and he laid it all out - This puppy was totally messed up, besides his busted legs he’s infested with fleas, malnourished, dehydrated, mosquito bitten, mangy, wormy - you name it - but not past hope. In a couple four weeks - when he’s strong enough we can talk about his broken legs.

I’ve named this super sweet puppy Buddy, and I’m going to do my best to help him get healthy. Any help for this little guy is very appreciated.

My goal is to raise $3,500 - that should just about cover Buddy’s ER, Vet Visits, Meds, and Surgery on his left leg with a wait and see on his right one..
