Buddy needs help with his hospital stay

Hello, my name is Lisa. I am the fur Mommy to this beautiful baby boy Buddy. He is 8 months old. Last Tuesday morning he had an accident. We are not for sure what happened. He was outside for approximately 5 minutes and about 10 minutes after coming in he started to limp. We took him to the clinic and the X-rays showed he had no broken bones. He did develop a pocket of fluid on his left side. After a few days the abscess broke open and he started going down hill. He has had three surgeries to debride the dead tissue. Buddy has approximately 20 stitches along with a few drain tubes in his belly. His chest is still open because he does not have enough skin to suture shut. That is why his chest is bandaged and he is wearing a vest. His spirits are great and the doctor seems positive on his recovery, but it is going to be a long road ahead. He has been in the hospital almost a week. His medical expenses are reaching an astronomical amount and are increasing each day. Both Tracy and I would be eternally grateful for any amount of donation. We will keep you updated with his progress along with pics.
