Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read our Go Fund Me page, on behalf of my sister Cynthia and I we decided to ask for a blessing from our friends and family. Give what you can. As most of you know our father passed away. He left everything to his girlfriend. Yes girlfriend. Not us or a grandchild. He did not have life insurance, he had canceled his policy. As many of you know he was sick back in December of 2022 during Christmas. I dropped everything to be with my dad while my sister was in Japan. I arrived to my dad in ICU, his blood sugar level was 10 times the amount it should have been, he was DKA. He was sepsis and also urinating himself in bed. She called me to ask what she should do while

my dad lay practically lifeless in bed. Of course I say call the ambulance, how could she just let him lay there like that. Mind you I had not been able to get a hold of my dad for almost 10 days. I had to send my cousin over to check on him. She said he finally made it to the door but looked very bad. She then took him some meds for me. Shalonda was my lifesaver and rock through this very hurtful experience. 2 days later my dad is picked up by the paramedics because she wouldn’t take him to the hospital or a Dr. I packed all my kid’s Christmas and headed to Ga. The next day as I was at the hospital I found out he was sepis and I didn’t allow her to see him again or visit. Which when she came to visit, she was let allowed in which caused a stir and bad situation then escalated to an even worse situation. She then proceeded home and called the cops on me and had all my stuff thrown out on the lawn on Christmas Eve! Yes she kicked me and my children out on Christmas Eve along with a police escort. A few days go by and my dad is regaining his health back and talking and walking. Praise God. However I had to get my daughter back to NC for practice. Yes they understood, but I know she wanted to be there. Anyway, I get her a ride back and head to meet them half way. I didn’t get to see my dad that evening but saw him before we left. I told him I would be back. I get back late and then wake to visit my dad the next day only to arrive to another person in my dads room. He was gone. Can you imagine the shock and hurt I was experiencing not being able to find my dad. Come to find out he had checked himself out of the hospital took a cab home, to go home to that woman who almost killed him. She got to him before I could. I arrived back and then was kicked off the property and told never to come back. Hurtful words from my dad after everything that I had been through over the past couple days.

Fast forward my dad was in and out of the hospital from December to August. I left Georgia in tears and those were the last words my dad ever said to me. I hadn’t heard from him since.

My dad didn’t have life insurance, he had a plan for many years but quit paying it. As of now we will have to contest the Last Will and Testament, as he left her everything to her and when I say everything I mean everything, no matter our differences he didn’t even leave his grand children anything or my sister Cynthia either, who kept in touch with him frequently. With that being said we are stuck with funeral expenses and hiring an attorney. This will be a long process and lots of stress and worry and anxiety that will come with this for my sister and I who flew 36 hours to be here.

Myself and my family, my sister and her family would be so grateful if my friends and family can rally behind us to help ease the burden and off set the cost of the funeral and attorney expenses. I have never ever asked for any help or even used a Go Fund Me. If you can find it in your heart to bless us during this tragic time of loss of our father. All proceeds will be used forwards any funeral cost and to probate and contest the will.
