In loving memory of Terri Sullivan (Brookshier)

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to consider donating to a “Buddy Bench” in honor of our lovely Terri Sullivan who passed on September 18th, 2023.

Terri lived a life of service. She was a devoted elementary school teacher and friend. She was always going above and beyond to be a buddy to anyone in need.

She would give whatever it is that she could no matter the person, time, or place. Including but not limited to her time, talents, sage advice, and even her paycheck if needed. With that being said, she may be best known for her hugs (bear hugs to be exact).

She encouraged and comforted many

individuals with a warm hug and words that you wanted to hold onto forever of “I love you beary much”.

Through this gift, her legacy of kindness will live on and encourage others to spread what it means to be a “buddy” to those in need.

So, what is a buddy bench?

“A buddy bench is considered a “friendship” bench that helps children socialize. The concept behind the “buddy” message is that any child who feels lonely on a playground can sit on this bench and other children or caregivers will notice their predicament and reach out to them.”
